Can I track mileage with SparkReceipt?

Yes — SparkReceipt has a built-in mileage tracker called Trips. Record trips with GPS on mobile or add them manually on mobile and web, attribute them to vehicles, and estimate reimbursement.

Yes. SparkReceipt has a built-in mileage tracker, shown in the app as Trips. It keeps your business mileage in the same place as your receipts and expenses, so you don't need a separate app for it.

What you can do

  • Record trips automatically with GPS on the iOS and Android apps — start a trip, drive, and SparkReceipt logs your route and distance. You can pause, resume, and stop as you go.
  • Add trips manually on both mobile and web — enter a start and end address (and any stops in between) and SparkReceipt calculates the driving distance for you, or you can type the distance yourself.
  • Classify each trip as Business or Personal.
  • Attribute trips to a vehicle and give each vehicle its own reimbursement rate.
  • Turn on round trips to count the distance both ways.
  • Let AI suggest a trip purpose from the trip's addresses when you save one without a purpose.
  • See an estimated reimbursement based on the distance and the rate you set.

Which platforms it's on

Trips is available to everyone, on the iOS app, the Android app, and the web app — there's nothing to turn on and no waitlist. GPS auto-tracking is a mobile feature; on the web you add and edit trips manually.

Which plans include it

The Mileage Tracker is available on all plans — there's no separate purchase. The only difference is how many trips you can create each month:

  • Free — up to 3 trips per month.
  • Pro and Elite — unlimited trips.

The monthly limit only applies to creating new trips and resets at the start of each calendar month; you can always view and edit the trips you already have. If your account is linked to a paid account, the paid tier lifts the limit.
