Who You Can Add

  • Employees, co‑founders, or family members (e.g., spouse) — as users with different access roles.

  • Accountants or financial professionals — as special read‑only guest users (they do not count toward your available seat limit on Pro plans).

How to Invite Users

  1. Go to Subscription & Billing and purchase seats for the number of users you want to add.

  2. Navigate to Account & Users in the SparkReceipt dashboard.

  3. Click Invite Member, enter the email address, and choose a role for each invitee.

User Roles & What They Can Do

  • Contributor:
Can upload and submit their own receipts but cannot view, edit, or download other people’s documents. Ideal for employees reporting expenses.

  • Member:
Has full access to view, edit, and download all receipts and documents in your SparkReceipt account — suitable for partners or managers.

  • Accountant:
Has full access to view, edit, review, and download all documents, but does not count toward user seats on Pro plans. They cannot upload their own expenses.

Why Invite Other Users?

  • Collaborate with your team on expense reporting and documents.

  • Share financial records securely without email attachments.

  • Give accountants focused access for audits and bookkeeping without paying for extra seats.
