Manual Line Item Categorization
You can manually add and edit individual line items using SparkReceipt’s built-in Line Item Editor. This allows for detailed expense tracking by categorizing each item separately.

Quantity and Unit Price on line items
Each line item can also carry a Quantity and a Unit Price. SparkReceipt's AI extracts these from the document when it can, and you can edit them by hand — in the web app they show up as an inline quantity @ unit price phrase on the line, and in the mobile app as separate Quantity and Unit price fields.
These two fields are for reference only. They record how many units the line covers and the price per unit, but they don't change the line's amount or the document's totals — the subtotal, tax and total stay exactly as extracted. Because they aren't recalculated, it's fine if quantity × unit price doesn't add up to the line subtotal.
