You can permanently delete your SparkReceipt account and all associated data at any time. This action is irreversible — once your account is deleted, your receipts, documents, and history cannot be recovered.
If you only want to stop paying, cancel your subscription instead: your data stays accessible and you can still export it. Account deletion is a separate, destructive action.
Only the account's owner can delete the main account — the one your subscription and any linked accounts hang off. Admins can delete a linked account, but if you're an admin who needs the main account deleted, ask the owner to do it. For the linked-account steps, see How to delete a Linked Account.
On the web
- Log in at app.sparkreceipt.com.
- Navigate to Account & Users.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and open the Destroy account section.
- Click Request deletion code to send a one-time code to your account's email address.
- Enter the code in the confirmation dialog and confirm the deletion.
- Your account and its data are now deleted. If you have multiple accounts via the Linked Accounts feature, repeat these steps for each of them.
- Once every account is deleted, your login details are also removed and you are signed out.
On mobile

- Enter the code in the confirmation dialog and confirm the deletion.
- Your account and its data are now deleted. If you have multiple accounts via the Linked Accounts feature, repeat these steps for each of them.
- Once every account is deleted, your login details are also removed and you are signed out.
