There isn't a report that automatically rolls forward on its own — but you can produce exactly the same thing on demand, and it takes a few seconds once your documents are in.
Getting a 12-month expense and income report
Use the Reports feature in either the web or mobile app and set a custom date range covering the last 12 months. The report includes both expenses and income for whatever range you pick, and you can choose CSV, Excel (XLSX), or PDF.
Because the range is yours to set, "rolling" is just a matter of re-generating the report when you want it up to date — each run reflects every document entered up to that moment. See How to create reports in SparkReceipt for the full walkthrough, including the other filters you can apply.
A live view instead of a report
If what you actually want is to watch the last 12 months rather than export it, the Overview screen is usually the better tool. It shows income, expenses, net, and profit & loss over a date range you select, and updates as documents come in — no report generation step.
The Overview date picker has presets for common periods (This Month, This Quarter, This Year, Last Year, and so on) plus a Custom Range option you can set to any 12-month window. There's no one-click "last 12 months" preset in either the Overview or the report builder, so a rolling year is a custom range in both cases.
See Using the Overview screen for what each widget shows.
Which to use
- Need a file to send to an accountant, or to keep for your records? Use Reports with a custom 12-month range.
- Need to check how the year is tracking? Use the Overview screen and set the range once.
